ramadhan tahun ini

tahu-tahu ramadhan udah datang lagi, udah hari ke-3 lagi. kemarin sebenarnya ingin posting tapi blogger malah lagi down.
sehari sebelum ramadhan sempet nggak percaya klo besok tuh udah puasa trus harus sahur pagi2, trus puasa seharian....
sebenarnya udah ada persiapan juga sich, kita satu kost udah pesen katering sama tetangga depan kost. tapi dasar nasib apes, karena BBM naik rupanya si ibu ini membuat menu sahur kita jadi minimalis.

hari kedua sahur : nasi sama sambel telur (cuma sepotong)
hari ketiga sahur : nasi pecel + bendrat (mie putih yang keras)

Training Linux

Hari ini puskom ngadain training linux yang merupakan kerjasama dengan kopma. pesertanya lumayan sich ada 45 orang, dibagi menjadi 3 shift. tapi seperti biasanya, harus lembur sampai pagi untuk mempersiapakannya. ada yang sibuk instalasi komputer, ada yang buat sertifikat, burning cd linux, buat modul dan lain sebagainya. entah kenapa selalu seperti ini, setiap ada kegiatan harus lembur sampai pagi. fotocopy modul pasti baru pagi hari H, instalasi baru selesai satu jam sebelum acara. yang lebih para tentor baru dapat modul 5 menit sebelum acara.
kenapa ya selalu seperti ini?

mungkin aku termasuk orang yang tidak sabar ya, bukan mungkin malah tapi pasti. berapa kali aku harus kecewa ketika dosen yang kutunggu2 tak dateng. padahal sebenarnya dateng tapi telat dan aku yang sudah tak sabar udah cabut dari kampus. sebenarnya bukan sepenuhnya salahku sich, karena aku kan udah janjian sama dosen bahwa jam segini nanti bisa konsultasi. tapi saat ditunggu sampai udah lebih dari 1/2 jam waktu yang dijanjikan tak datang2 pula, ya udah aku tinggal pulang. yang membuatku nggak enak tuch gara2 tuh dosen sampe ngadu ke temenku. temenku kan pembimbimbingnya sama denganku, dan biasanya kalo nunggu dosen juga bareng. pas aku pulang, dia biasanya masih setia nunggu si dosen. pas dosen dateng ternyata nanyain aku (karena aku emanh udah buat janji), pas tau aku udah pulang eh katanya bilang begini "emang anak yang satu ini tidak pernah mau menungguku".
emang siapa yang salah, udah janjian datengnya telat banget. tapi aku dinasehatin ama temenku itu katanya biar bagaimanapun kan dosen kedudukannya lebih tinggi, jadi kalo telat2 dikit mbok ya tetep ditunggu, lagipula yang butuh kan kita, bukannya si dosen. emang bener sich apa katanya tapi kan kita juga harus menghargai waktu, apa artinya janji kalo tidak ditepati (sambil nyanyi :-))
kemarin aku akhirnya ketemu sama si dosen pembimbing itu, setelah mengamati proposalku beberapa saat si dosen pun sibuk mencorat-coret kemudian menyerahkan hasil corat-coret itu kepadaku. aku disuruh revisi lagi, malah disuruh nambah variabel bebas satu lagi. aku yang udah bosen nggak selesai2 berusaha untuk ngeyel agar nggak jadi tambah variabel, alasanku sich yang namanya variabel kan tergantung peneliti gitu lho. eh dosennya bilang gini "kamu itu disuruh nambah satu variabel aja susah banget, kecuali kalo satu variabel ini membuat kamu harus menambah biaya dan waktu penelitian. lha wong ini paling cuma nambah kuisioner !" gludak...
ya udah kalo begitu berarti nggak bisa ditawar lagi, malah si dosen nambahin gini "kamu itu jangan terlalu tergesa2, belum tentu teman2 kamu yang lebih cepat lulus itu lebih baik. mungkin mereka emang pinter atau mungkin juga karena dosen mereka udah merasa mereka tidak dapat ditingkatkan lagi, jadi akhirnya diluluskan juga. kamu itu sebenarnya punya potensi, sayang kalo nggak dimanfaatkan. saya denger dari bu handayani(salah satu profesor di pertanian) kamu punya potensi untuk mengerjakan penelitian ini" gludak.................
kok bawa nama2 bu handayani segala, sebenarnya apa yang terjadi dibelakang sana. bu handayani tuh salah satu dosen yang udah prof gitu, kebetulan aku dulu pernah ada kerjasama dengan beliaw, tapi akhirnya emang rada2 kurang baik gitu. emang pas masih kerjasama dulu aku pernah cerita sama beliaw kalau skriksiku tentang pangan dan gizi, satu bidang yang emang spesifikasi bu handayani, makanya aku konsultasi sama beliau, trus beliau tanya siapa dosen pembimbingnya. trus aku ceritain. sekarang apa yang terjadi sebenarnya ya....

wisuda hari ini

hari ini 23 gadis dari angkatanku dengan resmi telah diwisuda, katanya sih angkatan 2001 yang terbanyak wisudanya sa-UNS. dan semuanya cewek, sedangkan nasib 11 cowok yang ada dikelasku sampai saat ini masih berebut untuk mendapatkan tiket untuk dapat wisuda desember.

aku sendiri, hanya merenung di sebuah pojok yang gelap sambil nulis blog ini, ym-an dengan beberapa teman sma-ku dan mendengarkan lagu india dari winamp

kemarin aku flu lagi, nggak tahu kenapa akhir2 ini aku flu terus. sampe sekarang masih meler2 ditambah tenggorokan yang sakit sejak semalam. padahal biasanya aku kalau flu ngggak pernah lama, kalau udah istirahat biasanya sembuh sendiri.
padahal aku lagi di kejar deadline skripsi, nggak tahu tuh kenapa proposal juga nggak kelar2. pembimbing yang satu udah beres, eh sekarang pembimbing yang satunya lagi malah minta revisi banyak baget.pokoknya pusing dech

lama sekali rasanya udah gak posting lagi, memang bener nulis tuh rasanya berat sekali.
berbahagialah orang yang bisa bilang bahwa nulis itu mudah.
telah banyak hal yang terjadi selama aku tak posting, aku sudah lebih banyak belajar dan belajar menikmati pembelajaran yang aku lakukan. bingun kan !
artinya dulu hal2 yang mungkin aku anggap sbg beban skrng bisa aku anggap sebagai pengalaman dan juga ajang pembelajaran.
aku bisa nikmati tugas menginstall OS dari win 98, 2000, xp, juga linux dari ubuntu, sampai mandriva LE 2005.
aku juga jadi mengenal program kayak limewire (tempatku skrng mencari lagu dan film), trus yang terbaru ada google talk dan juga skype, lumayan setelah dicoba kemarin sama temenku yang ada di malang suarany jernih juga, terutama untuk yang skype.
memang bener apa yang kita butuhkan sekarang semua sudah tersedia di internet, tinggal kita aja pinter2 nyarinya.

Tirakatan?

hahaha....
pertama mendengar istilah ini aku tertawa. bagaimana tidak untuk sebuah acara yang disebut tirakatan kok isinya hura2?
walaupun aku sudah 4 tahun kuliah di solo ternyata baru sekarang aku tahu kalau ada acara yang disebut tirakatan. soalnya aku biasanya masih dirumah pada tanggal 17 agustus seperti kemarin. kebetulan kali ini aku tak pulang jadi tahu kalau ada acara seperti ini.
acara ini dilaksanakan pada malam 17 agustus oleh masyarakat solo dan sekitarnya. isinya? hura-hura belaka ! ada makan-makan, terus biasa... musik dangdut sepanjang malam. hebatnya lagi acara ini dilakukan bukan oleh institusi semacam RT, tapi oleh siapa saja yang penting bergerombol :-)
buktinya dalam satu RT bisa ada 3 acara tirakatan yang berbeda yang dilaksanakan secara bersamaan. dan isinya? sama !

WORTEL, TELUR DAN KOPI

Seorang anak mengeluh pada ayahnya mengenai kehidupannya dan
menanyakan mengapa hidup ini terasa begitu berat baginya. Ia tidak
tahu bagaimana menghadapinya dan hampir menyerah. Ia sudah lelah
untuk berjuang. Sepertinya setiap kali satu masalah selesai, timbul
masalah baru. Ayahnya, seorang koki, membawanya ke dapur. Ia mengisi
3 panci dengan air dan menaruhnya di atas api.

Setelah air di panci-panci tersebut mendidih. Ia menaruh
wortel di dalam panci pertama, telur di panci kedua dan ia menaruh
kopi bubuk di panci terakhir. Ia membiarkannya mendidih tanpa
berkata-kata. Si anak membungkam dan menunggu dengan tidak sabar,
memikirkan apa yang sedang dikerjakan sang ayah. Setelah 20 menit,
sang ayah mematikan api. Ia menyisihkan wortel dan menaruhnya di
mangkuk, mengangkat telur dan meletakkannya di mangkuk yang lain,
dan menuangkan kopi di mangkuk lainnya.

Lalu ia bertanya kepada anaknya, "Apa yang kau lihat,
nak?" "Wortel, telur, dan kopi" jawab si anak. Ayahnya mengajaknya
mendekat dan memintanya merasakan wortel itu. Ia melakukannya dan
merasakan bahwa wortel itu terasa lunak. Ayahnya lalu memintanya
mengambil telur dan memecahkannya. Setelah membuang kulitnya, ia
mendapati sebuah telur rebus yang mengeras. Terakhir, ayahnya
memintanya untuk mencicipi kopi. Ia tersenyum ketika mencicipi kopi

setelah direbus, isinya menjadi keras. Bubuk kopi mengalami
perubahan yang unik. Setelah berada di dalam rebusan air, bubuk kopi
merubah air tersebut.

kemarin kita rame-rame instal linux. pertamanya kita pake ubuntu tapi ternyata belum bisa ngatur setting-an untuk resolusi layar, jadi layarnya gede gitu. mau dikecilin belum bisa caranya ;-)
terus kita instal mandrake 8.2 yang ternyata sulit juga pada proses intstalasinya, haru s nyetting partisi yang kebetulan aku belum menguasainya secara baik.
terakhir kita nyoba xandros, tampilannya ok juga. mirip sekali dengan windows, sayangnya membutuhkan spesifikasi yang lumayan, jadi nggak bisa diinstal di kompie butut.
ternyata migrasi ke linux tidak semudah yang dibayangkan, belum lagi user yang belum familiar penginnnya kembali ke windows. alhasil sampe sekarang kita masih pake dual trus masih ngutek2 linux agar konfigurasinya lebih enak dipake.

DAUN terbang karena ANGIN bertiup atau karena POHON tidak memintanya untuk tinggal

ini adaah cerita yang saya dapatkan dari milis air putih, karena saya rasa sangat bagus maka saya posting di sini. semoga ada manfaatnya ;-) POHON Orang2 memanggilku "POHON" karena aku sangat baik dalam menggambar pohon. AKU selalu menggunakan gambar pohon pada sisi kanan sebagai trademark pada semua lukisanku. AKU telah berpacaran sebanyak 5 kali... Ada satu wanita yang sangat AKU cintai..tapi AKU tidak punya keberanian untuk mengatakannya... Dia tidak cantik..tidak memiliki tubuh yang sexy.. Dia sangat peduli dengan orang lain..religius tapi..dia hanya wanita biasa saja. AKU menyukainya..sangat menyukainya.. Gayanya yang innocent dan apa adanya..kemandiriannya..kepandaiannya dan kekuatannya... Alasan AKU tidak mengajaknya kencan karena... AKU merasa dia sangat biasa dan tidak serasi untukku... AKU takut...jika kami bersama semua perasaan yang indah ini akan hilang... AKU takut kalau gosip2 yang ada akan menyakitinya... AKU merasa dia adalah "sahabatku"... AKU akan memilikinya tiada batasnya...tidak harus memberikan semuanya hanya untuk dia... Alasan yang terakhir..membuat dia menemaniku dalam berbagai pergumulan selama 3 tahun ini... Dia tau AKU mengejar gadis2 lain dan AKU telah membuatnya menangis selama 3 tahun... Ketika AKU mencium pacarku yang ke-2 terlihat olehnya... Dia hanya tersenyum dengan berwajah merah..."lanjutkan saja" katanya, setelah itu pergi meninggalkan kami. Esoknya, matanya bengkak..dan merah... AKU sengaja tidak mau memikirkan apa yang menyebabkannya menangis... but AKU tertawa...bercanda dengannya seharian di ruang itu... Di sudut ruang itu dia menangis...dia tidak tau bahwa AKU kembali untuk mengambil sesuatu yang tertinggal... Hampir 1 jam kulihat dia menangis disana.... Pacarku yang ke-4 tidak menyukainya... Pernah sekali mereka berdua perang dingin, AKU tau bukan sifatnya untuk memulai perang dingin... Tapi AKU masih tetap bersama pacarku... AKU berteriak padanya dan matanya penuh dengan air mata sedih dan kaget... AKU tidak memikirkan perasaannya dan pergi meninggalkannya bersama pacarku... Esoknya masih tertawa dan bercanda denganku seperti tidak ada yang terjadi sebelumnya... AKU tau dia sangat sedih dan kecewa tapi dia tidak tau bahwa sakit hatiku sama buruknya dengan dia... AKU juga sedih... Ketika AKU putus dengan pacarku yang ke 5, AKU mengajaknya pergi... Setelah kencan satu hari itu, AKU mengatakan bahwa ada sesuatu yang ingin kukatakan padanya... Dia mengatakan bahwa kebetulan sekali bahwa dia juga ingin mengatakan sesuatu padaku... AKU cerita tentang putusnya AKU dengan pacarku... Dia berkata bahwa dia sedang memulai suatu hubungan dengan seseorang... AKU tau pria itu...dia sering mengejarnya selama ini... Pria yang baik, penuh energi dan menarik... AKU tak bisa memperlihatkan betapa sakit hatiku, AKU hanya tersenyum dan mengucapkan selamat padanya... Ketika sampai di rumah, sakit hatiku bertambah kuat dan AKU tidak dapat menahannya... Seperti ada batu yang sangat berat didadaku...AKU tak bisa bernapas dan ingin berteriak namun apa daya... Air mataku mengalir tak terasa aku menangis karenanya... Sudah sering AKU melihatnya menangis untuk pria yang mengacuhkan kehadirannya... Handphoneku bergetar...ternyata ada SMS masuk...SMS itu dikirim 10 hari yang lalu ketika aku sedih dan menangis... SMS itu berbunyi,"DAUN terbang karena ANGIN bertiup atau karena POHON tidak memintanya untuk tinggal?" DAUN AKU suka mengoleksi daun-daun, kenapa? Karena AKU merasa bahwa DAUN untuk meninggalkan pohon yang selama ini ditinggali membutuhkan banyak kekuatan. Selama 3 thn AKU dekat dengan seorang pria, bukan sebagai pacar tapi "Sahabat". Tapi ketika dia mempunyai pacar untuk yang pertama kalinya... AKU mempelajari sebuah perasaan yang belum pernah aku pelajari sebelumnya - CEMBURU... Perasaan di hati ini tidak bisa digambarkan dengan menggunakan Lemon. Hal itu seperti 100 butir lemon busuk. Mereka hanya bersama selama 2 bulan... Ketika mereka putus, AKU menyembunyikan perasaan yang luar biasa gembiranya. Tapi sebulan kemudian dia bersama seorang gadis lagi... AKU menyukainya dan AKU tau bahwa dia juga menyukaiku, tapi mengapa dia tidak mau mengatakannya? Jika dia mencintaiku, mengapa dia tidak memulainya dahulu untuk melangkah? Ketika dia punya pacar baru lagi, hatiku sedih... Waktu berjalan dan berjalan, hatiku sedih dan kecewa... AKU mulai mengira bahwa ini adalah cinta yang bertepuk sebelah tangan... Tapi, mengapa dia memperlakukanku lebih dari sekedar seorang teman? Menyukai seseorang sangat menyusahkan hati...AKU tahu kesukaannya... kebiasaannya... Tapi perasaannya kepadaku tidak pernah bisa diketahui... Kau tidak mengharapkan AKU seorang wanita untuk mengatakannya bukan ? Akhirnya AKU meninggalkan Pohon...tapi Pohon hanya tersenyum dan tidak memintaku untuk tinggal... AKU sangat sedih memandangnya tersenyum ke arahku... ANGIN AKU menyukai seorang gadis bernama Daun... karena dia sangat bergantung pada Pohon..jadi aku harus menjadi ANGIN yang kuat... Angin akan meniup Daun terbang jauh... Pertama kalinya..AKU melihat seseorang memperhatikan kami... Ketika itu, dia selalu duduk disana sendirian atau dengan teman2nya memerhatikan Pohon... AKU tau orang yang dia cintai bukan AKU...tapi AKU akan berusaha agar suatu hari dia menyukaiku... Selama 4 bln, AKU telah mengucapkan kata Cinta tidak kurang dari 20x kepadanya... Hampir tiap kali dia mengalihkan pembicaraan...tapi AKU tidak menyerah... Keputusanku bulat....AKU ingin memilikinya...dan berharap dia akan setuju menjadi pacarku.... udah pada tahu PILKADAL kan, itu lho pemilihan kepala daerah langsung yang sekarang lagi hangat2nya dibicarain orang. aku punya cerita tentang PILKADAL di daerahku (solo) yang coblosannya nanti tanggal 27 juni 2005. aku kan kost di daerah depan kampus yang lumayan beragam karakteristik penduduknya. dari yang kaum salafi sejati sampai pemabuk yang tiap malam begadang didepan kostku. pada PILKADAL kali ini pun ternyata mereka mempunyai pilihan sendiri.
rumah depan kostku terang2 an mendukung calon no.3 purnomo-istar, dan memasang spanduk melintang jalan tepat di depan kostku, bahkan kemarin mendapat TV 20" yang dipasang di gardu sebelah kostku.
terus tetangga sebelah kanan rumah mendukung calon no.4 hardono-dipokusumo juga memasang spanduk di sebelah kanan spanduk purnomo-istar.
terus tetangga sebelah kiri rumah mendukunng calon no.1 jokowi-rudi juga memasang
spanduk di sebelah kiri spanduk purnomo-istar.
pertama melihat hal tersebut kayaknya kok kayak ada perang spanduk walaupun sekitar kostku jadi kelihatan ramai :-)
tapi ternyata walaupun berbeda pilihan mereka akur2 aja malahan ada hal lucu yang sempat menggelitik hatiku.
selain akur mereka malah sampai saling bertukar kaos. yang pendukung purnomo pake kaos hardono, pendukung jokowi pake kaos purnomo, dan sebaliknya.
malah kemarin anak-anak kost juga dapet bagian kaos bahkan ada yang sampe 2 dari kandidat yang berbeda padahal kita2 ini sebenarnya nggak punya hak coblos di solo ini. lumayan .... :-)

kamu percaya nggak sich dengan ramalan bintang ?
menjawab pertanyaan itu kita kadang ragu-ragu. mau bilang nggakk percaya kok ya sering benernya. misalnya hari ini nich, aku ngecek ramalan bintangku di detik.com eh tak tahunya cocok. terutama pada kesehatannya. emang akhir2 ini aku selalu sakit perut gara2 kebanyakan makan sambal, mo gimana lagi wong enak sich.
emang bener hal itu sudah diketahui banyak orang bahwa makan sambel itu bikin mules perut tapi kok ya pas banget dengan keadaan sekarang.

aku tahu mungkin aku orang yang paling menyepelekan sesuatu. menganggap bahwa setiap orang mempunyai cara pandang yang sama denganku sendiri.
akibatnya mungkin banyak orang yang menganggapku orang yang paling tak sopan, suka berbuat seenaknya dan tak mempunyai tata krama.
aku memang orang yang paling mudah mengalami euforia dan mudah terpengaruh oleh keadaan lingkungan.
kasus terbaruku terkait dengan dosen pembimbing skripsiku. hari rabu minggu yang lalu aku kan memasukkan proposal skripsiku yang masih kacau balau, pikirku sich aku kan sekarang ini lagi tak punya banyak waktu. jadi buat proposal seadanya dulu nanti kan masih ada revisi dari dosen pembimbing, penginnya sich seperti itu ;-)
trus dosenku bilang, proposal bisa diambil hari rabu minggu depan alias kemarin tapi selasanya SMS dulu ya, begitu katanya.
trus aku selasa nggak SMS, rabu pagi ke kampus tapi dosen belum dateng aku tinggal pulang. tadi aku tanya sama temenku, kemarin dosen datang apa nggak.
jawabnya : datang ! gludak...
minggu ini aku kayaknya nggak bisa ke kampus, paling bisanya rabu depan. dosen ngambek nggak ya ?
aku jadi pusing... pusiiiiiiiiiiiing ! mau telepon takut aku nggak bisa nepatin janji lagi, soalnya jadwalku sendiri sibuk.
aduh, gimana donk !

mengapa hari ini begitu buruk ?
dimulai dari tadi malem. aku khan pulang dari puskom jam 00.30 an gitu. soalnya lembur nyeting2 komputer. sampai di kost ternyata kasurku udah dikuasai orang lain. sempet bingung juga mau tidur dimana. tapi ya udah, yang penting bisa tidur jadi asal nimbrung aja. celakanya aku nggak bisa tidur sampai pagi, bawaannya jadi marah terus. lha ini pagi aku udah niat banget ke kampus mau ketemu dosen, ternyata belia nya belum datang. jadi tambah sebel.
akhirnya aku melarikan diri ke SAT02 Puskom. nge Blog sambil ngademin pikiran sekalian baca buku yang aku beli semalem di Solo Islamic Book Fair.
sambil ngetik aku menghibur diri-sendiri, kalo lagi pusing mending ngeBlog aja dech !

Kearifan Lokal

ceritanya begini, seminggu kemarin aku ada kegiatan kampus di wonogiri yang sangat desa sekali. ya semacam praktik lapang gitu. kita tugasnya sebagai fasilitator dalam rangka menggali potensi masyarakat yang ada di desa tersebut.
kebetulan kita dapat tempat tinggal yang sangat layak, jadi sebenarnya masalah teknis tak begitu bermasalah.
yang jadi masalah justru pada konsepnya. dari dosen pembimbing katanya suruh pake teknik PRA (participatory rural appraisal)biar lebih memberdayakan masyarakat. kita sich nggak masalah malah enjoy2 saja merayu penduduk desa biar mau nggambar peta, buat diagram venn, buat pola kegiatan harian, buat kalender musim sampai transeks menelusuri desa untuk lebih mengenal potensi desa yang ada.
yang jadi masalah ketika kita tahu bahwa ternyata kita disuruh nyari data yang seabreg jumlahnya. heh...
jadi dosen pembimbing datang ke desa hanya untuk menyerahkan list data yang harus dikumpulkan. yang lebih nyebelin lagi mereka berkata "klo memang karaketeristik penduduk tdk cocok dengan PRA gunakan saja metode konvensional, seperti wawancara atau cari saja data monografi di desa. yang penting data terkumpul" gludak...
walah kalau begitu buat apa donk kita udah susah2 mempraktekkan PRA, buat apa juga pelatihan PRA yang pastinya udah ngeluarin banyak biaya...
ternyata... ada udang dibalik batu. dari situ udah mulai tercium tujuan dosen sebenarnya. kita disuruh nyari data ke desa buat bahan proyek2 proposal bagi para dosen. "kita di manfaatkan" begitu teriak anak2. tapi gimana lagi wong kita udah ada dilokasi dan udah tanda tangan kontrak.
tapi bagi diri saya pribadi, ceile.... cukup banyak pelajaran yang dapat diambil selama berada di desa. orang desa yang selama ini mungkin dianggap lugu ternyata mempunyai filosofi-filosofi yang bagus. mungkin itu yang disebut kearifan lokal, jadi setiap komunitas dimanapun berada mempunyai prinsip2 hidup yang mulia yang membuat mereka tetap bersemangat dalam hidup (maaf ya kalo pengertiannya mungkin kurang tepat, nanti tak carikan yang bener dech ;-)). misalnya yang satu ini, ini di dapet dari Mbah Tarno yang sangat bersahaja dan penyayang binatang, terutama ayam jago. bunyinya begini :
yen kowe kepengin urip mulya ana 3 rumuse (kalo kamu pengin hidup mulia ada 3 rumusnya) :
1. penakno turumu (tidurlah yang enak)
2. enakno manganmu (makanlah yang enak)
3. kurangi gaweyanmu (kurangi pekerjaanmu)
yang kira2 artinya : bahwa tidur yang enak kalo udah ngantuk maka kalo belum ngantuk jangan tidur, makan yang enak itu kalo lapar maka jangan makan dulu kalo belum lapar. trus sisa waktu selain kedua kegiatan itu berarti waktu untuk bekerja. kira-kira begitulah arti yang dapat saya tangkap.
